The band is best known for continuing to reinvent not only their live show (with mind blowing elements such as Tommy Lee’s 360 drum roller coaster) and music (brand new song due out this spring), but remain on the cutting edge via social media interaction.  MÖTLEY CRÜE’s New York Times bestselling book The Dirt is currently being adapted into a major motion picture.  Last month, the band was featured in one of the highest rated Super Bowl ads of all time for the KIA Optima.

About KISS

KISS remains one of the most influential bands in the history of rock and roll.  As one of America’s top gold-record champions, KISS has released 44 albums and sold more than 90 million albums worldwide. Decades of record-breaking tours around the globe have included high-profile appearances at Super Bowl XXXIII, the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, the Rockin’ The Corps concert dedicated to our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, and special guest appearance on the 2009 American Idol finale that boasted 30 million viewers and a 2010 Dr. Pepper Super Bowl commercial and advertising campaign in support of their Hottest Show On Earth tour.

The KISS legacy continues to grow, generation after generation. The unparalleled devotion and loyalty of the KISS Army to the “Hottest Band in the World” is a striking testament to the band’s unbreakable bond with its fans, and just one of the reasons KISS was nominated for induction into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.    KISS is currently in the studio recording “Monster”, the followup to  their 2009 chart topping album “Sonic Boom” and preparing for a soon to be announced major world tour starting in summer of 2012.

Mötley Crüe Guitarist Mick Mars Talks Las Vegas Residency, Favorite Song, Discovering Jimi Hendrix, and More

“Mötley Crüe guitar-slinger Mick Mars has always stood alone.

With an inimitable style, the axeman revs up the Crüe’s sound with raw riffs that are just as catchy as any of the band’s stadium-sized hooks. When he gets his moment in the spotlight, his bluesy solos illuminate another side of his playing altogether. He’s a guitar hero in the truest sense of the word—a cat who can riff and lead with the best of them.

Right now, he’s in the midst of finishing up the group’s residency stint at The Hard Rock Hotel’s Joint in Las Vegas. Somehow, he manages to get even better with every explosive show…”

Loudwire Review: Motley Crue in Sin City!

“Motley Crue have never been a band with a hidden agenda, so as I entered The Joint last night (Feb. 15) at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas, I knew exactly what I was getting myself into — I just wasn’t expecting it to feel so good.

Motley Crue have always put on a live show of the grandest scale with all the pomp, circumstance and theatrics they can scheme up combined with their special own brand of raunch and roll, making for not just a night of great music, but an experience for anyone in attendance. So, take all of that on an average day for the Crue, mix it with Sin City and you can only imagine the results. They traded in their ‘Carnival of Sins’ for ‘Carnival of Sin City’ and invited all of their friends to come along for the ride.”

Mötley Crüe’s Mick Mars Talks Las Vegas, New Music and Guitar

“Mötley Crüe were one of the most significant hair metal bands of the ’80s, toting metallic riffs, a mesmerizing visual presentation and a wild-child reputation that earned them legions of adoring fans.

Now, the guys of the Crüe are tearing up Las Vegas during a two-and-a-half week residency at the Hard Rock Hotel’s Joint.

‘It’s going pretty well’ guitarist Mick Mars told about the run, which kicked off February 3. ‘The first few days that you play a new venue, you have to get adjusted to the room, adjusted to the sound and adjusted to get the production, right, and that kind of stuff, and it’s getting better and better every night.'”
